Reinsurers increase appetite in personal cyber market

In February of this year, Amie Watson penned a piece for Insurance Day looking at growing appetite for personal cyber risk amongst reinsurers and the opportunity this provides the carriers willing to be pioneers.

Amie’s piece looked at the growing reliance we have on technology and the increased online criminal activity that has come hand in hand. But despite the pitfalls of this trend, the personal cyber market, and its scarcity of product offerings, provides an opportunity for early adopters to gain ground.
