Building more diverse and inclusive cultures in insurance

Aspen News

In March of this year, Mo Kang’s comments on cultural diversity featured in Insurance Times in a piece looking at Lloyd’s of London’s 2020 culture survey. The publication asks industry experts how they could apply the survey’s key learnings within their own organisations, to which Mo said:

“The Lloyd’s survey reflected some really important progress that’s being made in the industry, particularly around gender, leadership and wellbeing.  But it’s clear there’s still much more to do, and not least to ensure greater ethnic diversity.  Each employer will be different, but there’s a responsibility on all of to use robust evidence-based actions and data to deliver genuine change.  At Aspen we’re building our culture diversity and inclusion agenda in partnership with our employees, and their very active engagement shows how important this is not just to them as individuals, but to the future of our industry.”
