Bill joined Aspen as Global Head of Environmental Lines, Aspen Insurance in November 2015. Bill is responsible for the strategic planning and execution of environmental underwriting operations around the world. Bill is a thirty-year veteran of the insurance business. His entire career has been dedicated to insuring customers with environmental risk needs.
Prior to joining Aspen, Bill served in numerous underwriting and management positions, most recently as the leader of the global environmental business at Liberty International Underwriters. Previously, he was President of Kemper Environmental, and served in various environmental positions at Zurich American Specialties and AIG. Bill represented the insurance industry as a member Title X Task Force on Lead-Based Paint Hazard Reduction and Financing, appointed by the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
Holding B.S. and A.A. degrees in Biology, with concentration in Environmental Science, Bill is a graduate of Cook College at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and County College of Morris in Randolph NJ. He currently serves as the board Chairman of the County College of Morris Foundation. Bill lives with his family in Princeton Junction, NJ.
