Kirk started out as an excess and surplus lines underwriter with Cravens and MGA in 1978. He then joined Nac Re – now XL Re – as a property facultative underwriter in San Francisco in 1991. Five years later he moved to XL Re until 2002, when he joined Wellington Underwriting Inc – now Catlin – as West Coast Property Manager. Kirk joined us in June 2007.
